Small dealerships typically do not send their vehicles through a stringent 150 point inspection, as do larger dealerships (the cost of the inspection is then added to the purchase price). I got a sense that the owner of this dealership is very selective as to which vehicles he will puts on his lot, though.
Huge hassle. We bought a 2008 Nissan from them in June and problem after problem just followed.
I never felt pressured or hurried while I was taking the necessary steps to make sure that the vehicle checked out. All the vehicle needed was an oil and filter change, which the owner was more than happy to take care of for me.
Second, the Nissan we bought in June, which was supposed to last several more years, died in July. The engine went out, so the salesperson, Carlos, said they could help us get a replacement. It seemed nice at first, but it's nearly impossible to contact N&K because they never answer the phone, and if they do they don't actually give you straight answers to your questions. It's now September and we've been trying for over 2 months to get this whole ordeal sorted out.
The most amazing car dealership there is. I bought my car from them almost two years ago, My car is my baby. Fantastic staff they go out of their way to make their customers as happy as the can be. The only place I will ever buy a used car from. Truly amazing people and company. Would definitely recommend to everyone. Thank you!
Extremely helpful and friendly. I really appreciated the no pressure way they do business. They took time to listen to what I wanted and gave solid advice, but ultimately had me feeling in control the entire time. Best purchasing experience I've ever had at a dealership, and I'll definitely check these guys out again next time I purchase a vehicle.
In this day and age, businesses rely on reviews - buyers rely on them as well. However, it is very important to remember prior to making a large purchase - and commitment - you have a responsibility to do your homework. Reviews can't possibly cover all of the bases necessary.
Very easy to work with! I never expected such a good experience out of a used car dealership... Got what we believe to be a great deal. No pushing, no hassle.
This whole process has been the biggest hassle of my life. I wish we would have avoided N&K from the start.
My experience at Platinum was the most pleasant I have ever had when buying a vehicle. I would recommend it to anyone.
That said, it was important to me that I had an inspection done prior to purchasing the vehicle I wanted at Platinum. Brady and Juan were very open-minded about this, had nothing to hide, and even allowed me to take the vehicle for one full day so that I ccould get the inspection done. I am still amazed at how accommodating they were.
First of all, we paid an extra $300 for them to register the car for us, but it took them over 2 months to actually do it and get the license plates to us. Waste of money.
