Riverwoods is the last of classy, outdoor malls. Far better than your experience at Gateway in Salt Lake, Riverwoods has local shops (they don't look fondly on chains) and high-end, unique eating as well. They do lots of events over the course of the year (the best one is definitely the fire and ice festival in the winter when they bring in ski jumpers) and you can definitely spend time "hanging out" like back when we were all kids. Riverwoods is a mall for grown-ups, not just quick shopping and not full of teens.
Great for photos and walks. Had the best sushi resturant in the county but otherwise just the standard run of the mill store you find at most places. Amazing lights during the holiday season and they have fire pits for keeping warm during the colder months. Water fountains for the hotter months. It’s pretty but I wouldn’t really on it for retail therapy as a lot of the stores have been left empty
Nice outdoor shopping center. Great restaurants and shops with a cool atmosphere with live entertainment on the weekends and plenty of community events throughout the year.
Great outdoor mall with fun activities for everyone on the weekends. Not a lot of shops but the restaurants are good and there is fun arcade and games area for kids and dates.
This mall is gorgeous. I've only gone at night when the fires are lit, the strings of light overhead are twinkling and music plays all around. All of the shops and restaurants are top notch. There's a zoltar you can get your fortune from.
