So there you go. They don't own up to their mistakes, they don't offer a realistic refund policy, so what motivation do they possibly have to get an order right? They lose nothing, and the customer loses. Unless you want to order a cake, and suggest they surprise you with the flavor/filling, avoid this bakery at all costs.
Extra bonus, the general manager won't even return my call when I wanted to discuss it further.
Well, I believe I should get what I paid for, so fortunately I can dispute the charge since I put it on a Visa card. Thank goodness I have some recourse after getting my complaint ignored.
I placed an order for a baby shower in advance and put down a specific delivery date. They delivered the treats on the wrong day and when I called they said they would replace the order and have them there for our event. When the day of the event came nothing arrived. We called and they said they could give us what was left of the donuts, because they didn't have the kind we requested. They didn't offer a refund or anything. If you need something for an event, go somewhere else! They are not reliable and the last thing you need at an event, is for the food to not show up.
My wife and I live close to the bakery, and we made the mistake of getting some of their donuts once. Now we have a hard time not stopping! It's an awesome little place, and they really know how to make scrumptious eats. Highly recommend.
The coconut donuts here are delicious! Everything you'd expect from a small bakery. Service was quick and enjoyable. I'll definitely be frequenting here
The doughnuts and strawberry cheese danish were heaven!! The building was packed but the service was fast and friendly. Definitely will make this a tradition when we come to Provo.
Their policy, when I called them super upset, is that they will not give any refund unless I cut into the cake when I pick it up at the bakery, and then return the cake on the spot before leaving with it. This is clearly not even feasible realistically, so they have covered themselves. Imagine if I had ordered a fancy wedding cake, not just a party cake. I have to cut my wedding cake at the bakery when I pick it up to make sure it is right. Ridiculous.
This bakery is no good for ordering cakes. They messed up both my cakes I ordered. I am a first-time customer. One cake I ordered for a party I was throwing had no filling in between the layers. I had ordered Bavarian cream, so the two layers fell apart when I cut into it. The other cake was to be a marble cake and was a vanilla cake.
