Pioneer Book is a model for what used book stores should be. They have a good variety without diluting the quality of the selection. Their pricing is really reasonable, especially considering the quality of books you'll find. While I was there, several friendly staff members ask if I needed help. The isles are wide and the store is clean. They have several nice leather armchairs and an area for children. In short, you could spend a day here. Incidentally they have a huge selection of LDS literature if you're looking for that, including rare, signed, and out of print works. This is certainly the best used book store in the county and possibly in the state.

Great bookstore. If they don't have it, they'll get it for you. Friendly, knowledgeable staff, excellent management of the store. Recently reorganized and had exterior facelift. Highly recommended.
Excellent selection, good prices. They have an outstanding availability of books relating to Utah & Mormon history and Mormonism in general.
Quaint little (or actually not so little) used book store. Would be a great place to hang out for a bookworm. Some of the books seem a little pricey for being used, but they often send out good deals via text.
