Great ever-changing selection of art and rare books. The art shows hosted here (at last, the 5 is been to) feel very professional and close to if not on par with the artist's view of what they should be.
Ryan really knows his stuff and has gathered together a great collection of books and vintage treasures. They've worked marvels creating a welcoming and comfortable space and do a great job hosting art shows and other interesting events. Definitely worth checking out!
There's no place quite like Writ and Vision. It's quirky, thoughtful, and interesting. Great selection of religious and Mormon books for the intellectual crowd. Amazing events with some of the most interesting thinkers in religious studies; I've heard everyone from Dominic Crosson to Maxine Hanks speak here. Great place to meet and talk with like minded people. The art shows are also amazing, featuring more established artists like J. Kirk Richards as well as up and coming BYU students.
I've been through the art gallery here a few times now, and it's always impressive. Lots of good local art, and a great place to duck out of a lot of the noise on Center Street on Friday nights.
Really rare and interesting stuff – they specialize in alternative view points within mormonism. Will be coming here again. Strange hours though.
