I ordered the Whirlpool side-by-side stainless steel refrigerator for our new house. The delivery duo let it slide down the stairs. My son, back from Basic Training in the Army, caught it! It damaged the wall and dented the stairs but luckily no one was injured. After all that, the "dynamic delivery duo" botched the install and the ice and water don't work. After more than three weeks of calling customer care and writing emails we've yet to get help. I'm writing this review in the hope I can get some kind of help and response. I thought Home Depot was a proud sponsor of the Military, but so far we're not feeling the support.
If I could give a zero, I would. We special ordered doors 6 weeks ago and this store cannot seem to get the doors to us. What is worse, is there is no desire help and fix the problem. This has caused our projected to be delayed for over a month. I will not trust home depot with anything in the future. They have proven to be completely incompetent.
I guess this is a weird place to browse, but I love doing it. I always get new ideas of things I can do in my own home. I'm also able to find pretty much everything I need for my home improvement projects. Love this store
I prefer to shop at the American Fork location, the staff seems more friendly and the store is more organized, however this location is a good alternate because it's across the street from my work. This store isn't dirty and is kept fairly organized, however the staff doesn't seem eager to help.
It seems like no one there wants to help me. I've gone in TWICE now to buy an electric fly swatter unsuccessfully. First off if you ask someone in customer service (A joke of a name if I've ever heard one) they'll simply guess at sections or isle will numbers, but won't take the time to walk and show you or ask another employee to walk and show you. When I went to the garden center to find it there tell me one in the whole department was the cashier. I asked her about the product and said I would need to find someone in the garden center to help me. This was confusing because doesn't she work for the garden center? Her suggestion is that I walk up to customer service, halfway across the store, and ask them to page someone from the garden center to help me. When I did finally get someone who is committed to working in the garden center and I showed them with the Home Depot app that they have 11 of us waters I wanted in stock, he hundred hard and said that they had just been shipped and are probably in back. This was on the Saturday so I came back today which is a Friday and the app says that they now have 23 in stock. It was about quarter after 10 in the morning when I walked in and again could not find a product, again had to search for someone to help me, and again got the runaround of how they are in back because they just got shipped in last night. This guy at least walk to the back and said he try to look through the shipped items, but unfortunately there was too many for him to be able to find what I was looking for and that I should try coming back a third time! They also try to explain me away by telling me I was such a popular item. If it's such a popular item, why not keep it on the shelves instead of in the back?
