Businesses think that newly remodeled facilities, new seats, new sound systems, bigger popcorn, general managers, etc draw customers back.

Great in most ways, but the flaw is the atmosphere.

Being able to buy reserved seating is always a plus. Eliminates the need to wait in lines and you can still get a good seat. You can purchase online, at the theater or using the app. Get the app and use it.

That being said, the place is always clean, the staff is friendly and with 16 theaters, always something that you want to see is playing. It's usually not really crowded, unless you're seeing some big premier.

Theatres - are in excellent condition. Big screens, nice sound systems, stadium seating, swivel seats with retractable armrests.

Atmosphere - casual and slightly bland. Good for when you don't want to be around crowds, bad for when you want to go all out for a premiere or get a Friday night feel. Small arcade, good for young kids, not great for teens and up.

They show RiffTrax Live events here, which is awesome! But I wish they had luxury loungers. WARNING: their pretzels are frozen in individual plastic bags and then heated up for you in the microwave....YUCK!

The movie and acoustics were really well but I went to see a rated R movie with my mother and they were constantly watching me and my older sister. We couldn't even use the restroom without them watching us. When they did speak to us they were pretty nice but the managers were kind of snarky.

I contend that is those often forgotten employees who earn not much more than minimum, cleaning auditoriums, sweeping, manning snack bar, etc who rise to the occasion when customers need help. They make the difference.

Let me be clear about my 3 star rating right from the start.... No place that inflates the price of popcorn, candy and Coke by 5000% (giver or take a 1000%) will ever get higher than a 3 start rating from me. It is robbery.

Thanks guys!

Matinee / senor tickets are a decent price.

My wallet slipped out of my pocket during a matinee, and when I called, I was told an usher had found it and turned it in, including the cash in it. When I picked it up, I was told they are not allowed to accept a reward for their kindness and honesty.

Now I feel loyal to this Cinemark. All because of the under-paid and often under-appreciated employees.
