They were super kind and put me in a room so my cats could walk around and feel comfortable while waiting. I really appreciated the care and attention they took to make sure my pets were happy and comfortable.

I called the day before and made an appointment to bring my 2 cats in for a wellness check up. When I arrived, they said that my appointment was scheduled for 30 minutes later than scheduled over the phone. I felt kind of stupid, but I think it was a mistake on their part.
We will always go here because we had a great first experience with one of our chinchillas!
Easy to get an appointment. Friendly vet and staff. I once found a dog wandering the streets with no I.D. I took him here and they checked him for a microchip. They found it and contacted the owner and never told me the owner's details. I was happy that they did this service without charge and respected the owner's privacy. I feel very confident about my own dog's well-being with them.
Riverwoods Pet Hospital can usually get my pets in the same-day or next-day. They do both regular pets, as well as exotic pets. The staff is great. I use these guys regularly for my pets and definitely recommend them.
When the veterinarian was finally able to see my pets I was super pleased with the visit. She took time and answered all of my questions. She talked appropriately to me and my pets and apologized for the delay. I plan on using this clinic in the future. She was professional and kind and inexpensive. They even charged me half price for one of the two cats because I had to wait, they were super courteous.
