You can't get an appointment from the national number because they say "We can't schedule an appointment sooner than 45 days with that office because they don't have anything available." Ok, so I have a letter that says they need info in 10 days. ???????
While they say they are less busy at 9a.m. I don't believe that to be true. There is less people in line but it also seems like there are less employees working at this time. Regardless of when you go be prepared to wait at least an hour and make sure to review you information twice over or you will get the joys of visiting their office twice.
I read reviews before I went. There was no angry guard or crazy monster lady at window 5. Just a nice guard, and cheerful, helpful people at the windows and I was in and out in under 15 minutes. I went Friday around 9:45
After waiting for 45 minutes, the girl who helped me was rude and inconsiderate despite my friendly demeanor. She didn't smile or be kind in any way. I was literally done in 3 minutes and she didn't help me at all. What a waste of my time. I feel really annoyed now. If you hate your job so much, find a new one where you don't have to work with people.
Clean and friendly office! I went right when they opened so that I wouldn’t have to wait very long. I feel like one should expect a bit of a wait during busy times. They helped me with what I needed and it was a good experience!
I have been in this office frequently and only once have I had a positive experience. Just the fact that I have to actually go into the office so often is not a positive. There are only 4 Disabled parking spots for this place that so many people who are disabled have to visit. There is no where to simply turn in paperwork without taking a number and waiting typically an hour or more if there near opening time or closing time.
