The park was okay, went in the afternoon and it was really crowded. only visited with family and had an outdoor barbecue, there weren't very many picnic/ grill areas near the river where we would have rather been. didn't go in the water at all. really loud people at the park playing loud music.
Our end of season stay was wonderful! The campground was clean, the showers were warm and the views spectacular. Definitely will return!
Lots of fun especially if you like fishing. We got some paddle boards and rode out on the lake with the kids. It was so much fun and we made some great memories! It does cost money though so be prepared to pay a fee per car. If you just want a place to fish, then the Provo River is just outside of the entrance and you can catch some good fish there too just along the trail.
Stayed at the campground, not there for boating or fishing. Front gate is locked at 10:00 p.m. so don't be late or you won't get in. Funny public RV park just outside of Utah Lake State Park, they don't lock you out at 10:00 so give them your business. Park Manager Jason nowhere to be found for assistance and would not return calls. Girls at gate were as helpful as they could be, but have no authority to help you with problems. Only 2 shower stalls and 2 comfort stations for the 54 camping sites.
I went tent camping there in October and it was super fun! Had water and electricity hookups. Only problem is that there is only 1 hike close by and it's not long and owned, but it's more of a blessing place so can't expect to much
