I don't think this place deserves even 1 star. Reservation does not mean anything to them. I reserved a car at 10:00 in the morning and I went to the pick-up place and nobody was there. There was a phone number on the desk, so I called and their response was even worse and ridiculous. Basically what they said was "we don't have the car yet, so if you still want to rent it, then wait until 4:00 afternoon." So they messed up my business trip plan. I am pretty sure that Hertz is a pretty big company but the way they treat their customer is very unprofessional.
I am extremely disappointed with Hertz. I ordered a car online months ago for a big trip I have been planning to Washington. When I went to the hotel counter to pick it up no one was there (even though the hotel clerk said that they were supposed to be there). The hotel clerk called the closest Hertz dealership and they were completely clueless. They told me they didn't have a car for me and that it would take about an hour to get me one. Fastforward 3 hours, they STILL didn't have my car and told me that they wouldnt have one for 2-3 more hours. They offered no discount or anything for making me late to everything. I eventually just cancelled my rental and had to figure something completely else out and once again was offered nothing for me inconvenience. Unprofessional by every standard, the hotel was furious at Hertz as well.
Can't believe they actually advertise this as a location. Had a 10am reservation that I made online. There was no mention that this was a remote site or that I had to be there right at the reserved time. I showed up at 10:22am. No one was there. There was a phone number on the desk to call for immediate assistance. I called the number about 10 times over a 45 minute period while I was waiting for someone to show. No one ever showed , the phone number didn't have a voice mail, and no one ever answered the phone. Pretty bad for a national company.
I second the other review. There is a small Hertz desk in the lobby of the Marriott with no one there. We arrived hours later than our pick-up time due to a 5 hour flight delay. There was no one there. No one answered the phone # that comes up on Google and I finally found a different # in my confirmation email. When I called that #, they said they'd have to come pick us up in Provo and take us to Orem to get the car (instead of just bringing us a car to the Marriott). We waited a half hour and called to see what had happened and they said the guy got a flat tire, which I feel bad about, but they didn't call us to let us know. We ended up canceling the reservation and going with a different company.
Did not have enough cars but kept saying that they would be right there. Waited for two hours to not get a car. Do not waste your time...
