I went today to get a wedding ring for my husband. The guy there (I didn't get names but he was tall with glasses) was very helpful and nice to talk to, but the woman (also with glasses, multicolored frames, long wavy hair) was downright awful.
When we went and picked my engagement ring out I knew I wanted a round diamond with a thin band and it HAD to be made in rose gold. I finally found one that I liked, so we had the manager double and triple check to make sure it could be made in rose gold and he said "Yup, it can be made in any kind of gold because it has an A-tag on it and that means it can be made in whatever color you want." So I loved it and decided that was my ring. After we got engaged with the white gold ring, I brought it back to the store to get my actual ring made in the rose gold that I wanted and they told me that the manager who helped us pick it out lied and that it actually can't be made in the color that I want. They told me that he quit and moved to Alaska and that it wasn't their problem that their former employee made a mistake. They said the only thing they could do is have me pick a new ring or continually have to get it dipped in rose gold every couple months, which I still have to pay for. I was devastated that they didn't try to make their mistake right or give us a discount on the ring we bought. I was so fed up with the whole thing that we ended up buying my husband's ring from another jeweler. Highly recommend going somewhere else to buy your engagement rings!!
I was shocked but continued looking at rings. She then proceeded to make fun of my nail polish, phone case and glasses and followed up with "We get it. You like purple".
This is only a small fraction of what happened when I was there, I won't recount all the details, but this woman needs to be rebuked for her behavior immediately. I shouldn't be made fun of for the color of my accessories ( by the way WHY DO YOU CARE, LADY??) by someone who cakes inches of makeup on their face every day. Extremely unsatisfied.
At this point I was even more taken aback. I slowly explained that, yes I had, but thanks for the offer. I was responded with another scoff and another "whatever".
My ring went down the garbage disposal, all the diamonds came out and all that was left was a crumpled piece of metal. I have the life time warranty they didn't ask any questions just grabbed a new ring out of the case and gave it to me. They are always so kind and helpful! Favorite location by far!
Extremely Horrible Customer Service! I recently purchased a defective product from the Provo Mall location. When I returned to the store to replace/exchange the merchandise, I was told "we have never experienced this & I am not sure what to do." I was also informed I would receive a call the next business day. I never received a call & instead had to re-contact the store to get more information. To make matters worse, I now am forced to either return the entire purchase OR pay $600+ dollars for new merchandise. Needless to say after multiple calls and promises of return calls, I continually have to follow up with the manager, Alicia Patrick to get anywhere. She is not pleasant to work with, has horrible customer service & will obviously do anything to make her commission, even if that includes forcing you to pay extra on top of the $2000 you already paid. I wish I could give this location & specifically the manager, Alicia zero stars. I will not be returning to this location - ever! .
She started by asking what his ring size was, and when I told her I'd like it a half size down because he tried them looser than they should be, she looked at me like I was and idiot and asked very condescendingly, "Well where is he? Why didn't you bring him?!" I was surprised and calmly explained that he was out of town but that we had gotten him sized at another store before he left. She proceeded to actually scoff at me and say "Whatever..."
"Um. Really?? Are you sure?!" she demanded.
Great customer service! I am very pleased with the work that was done on my rings. Alicia and Jake were the best!
If that wasn't enough, she asked if I would like my own wedding ring cleaned there. I politely declined and said that I had had it cleaned earlier.
